Cybercrime Prevention and Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar

During the celebration of Youth Month 2024 in Bayung Porac, a Cybercrime Prevention and Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar was respectfully held today, August 19, 2024, at the Porac Manpower Training Center. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Jen Capil, Chief of Staff of the Mayor.

The Municipal Youth Development Office, ably led by Ma’am Sarah Mae Alonzo-Salvador, collaborated with SK Federation President Angelo David to meticulously organize this significant activity.
The seminar was attended by 92 dedicated In-School Youths representing various High Schools within the municipality.

We were honored to have esteemed resource persons who shared their valuable knowledge and expertise during the seminar. These esteemed individuals included Mr. Domingo Chico Jr. from DICT Pampanga, Ms. Ofelia T. Borral from DICT Region III, Patrolman Rogelio P. Ubaldo Jr., and Patrolwoman Marjorie L. Ballatong from the Anti Cybercrime Group PNP Region III.

Their insightful presentations greatly enriched the participants’ understanding of cybercrime prevention and cybersecurity awareness.
