Happy National Disability Rights Week

The Municipality of Porac under the leadership of Hon. Jaime V. Capil, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Jhoanne M. Arcega, RSW celebrated the National Disability Rights Week 2024.

This activity aims to stimulate public awareness on the rights of PWD and encourage everyone to take an active role in our society.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our Resource speaker, Ms. Aimee Fernando and Mr. Jeremiah Lopez for sharing their inspiring story.

Moreover, children with special needs (ASD and down syndrome) received 2,000 and food packs while the Person with Cerebral Palsy received 3,500 and food packs. The participants also received a transportation assistance and won a cash prize and appliances through raffle draw.

Further, We also want to thank Mayor, Hon. Jaime V Capil and Mayora Leni Capil for giving each participants a food pack and Bayung Porac Umbrella which were very essential in this rainy season.

The success of this celebration became possible because of the support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jaime V. Capil, to his wife, Mayora Leni Capil, Vice Mayor, Francis Laurence Tamayo and the 11th Sangguniang Bayan Members.
