IN support of local farmers and delicacy makers, the Municipality of Porac hosted “Kapangan,” a one day local produce fair on Friday, April 26.

Led by the Municipal Tourism Office, the fair featured produce from local Poraqueño farmers and native delicacies.

“Our goal is to help local farmers sell their produce and at the same time encourage delicacy makers to keep making their heirloom recipes,” Porac tourism officer Gem Marimla shared.

The local fair was graced by the municipality’s first lady Leny G. Capil, wife of Mayor Jaime “Jing” V. Capil.

Supporting local businesses and preserving local culture are priority projects of Mayor Capil.
