PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY | TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Porac reminds everyone to prioritize safety amid the prevailing and/or forecasted adverse weather conditions.

Effective immediately and until further notice, outdoor activities in high-risk and hazard-prone areas are temporarily prohibited, including:

Hiking and trekking

Mountaineering and mountain climbing

Camping and overnight stays

River trekking, swimming, and other water-related recreational activities

Other similar recreational or tourism activities that may expose individuals to weather-related hazards

This precautionary measure aims to protect our residents, visitors, tourists, and outdoor enthusiasts from possible heavy rainfall, strong winds, thunderstorms, landslides, flash floods, and other weather-related hazards.
